I went in to a shop fully expecting to come out with a Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 1.5, but I picked up the Redwood ZB just to try it out . . . I'm glad I did! To me this putter feels much more solid than the Scotty, probably much more to do with the sound than anything. I also really like the black finish, very easy to look at on the green. I will say I have to be much more precise on my putts, but the I like to know that I *have* to focus to make anything . . . it really keeps my head in the game.
I'd highly recommend this putter to anyone who has a consistent putting stroke and loves a solid feeling putter.

Sweetest putter ever. I am a major club ho and go through putters like crazy, but not this one. It is in the bag for good. The black satin finish is WAY better than the normal one. Do not hesitate to game this baby.

a bit dull feeling

I have the Piper. the grip is decent, the fit and finish is tops. I really just didn't like the feel of hitting the ball, and I was using ProV1's. It felt solid, but dull feeling, too hard. I really had to put a swing on the ball to get it going. I just don't prefer it, I will stay with my scotty.

Cons:

Tried this baby out at the local shop and never looked back. Blacked out Ping man grip sets it off. 2* flat (orange dot). Typing this makes me want to hit the putting green for hours! Love the solid milled feel. Great to look at. Lag putts from 30, 40, 50+ feet have never been easier!
