Pros:Subdued mallet size; perfect head weight; swings easy; good feel; super bargain @ $70.
Cons: None (though I'd prefer a little tackier feel in the grip - may swap.)
Pros:Great feel, VALUE, milled!, classic designs, Stainless, Satin finish reduces glare.
Cons: Maybe get some more design options, finishes. Honestly not very many cons here!

Rating: Check these putters out! You can't beat the value/performance of the Cleveland Classic putters. At $69.99 new, these milled putters rival $300 Scotty Camerons in every area. They feel amazing. I can't tell you enough, you just have to go check them out yourself. I am going to put a sound slot in a Classic 1 and see how it goes. Cheap investment if it doesn't work out.
In a world where a daquiri costs $14, how can a high performance putter cost $70?

Pros:
Price, classic look and feel. Great weight. This may be the best deal in golf right now on new equipment. In a world of $150-$300 putters lining the racks, its nice to see this.
Cons:
Grip and headcover both blow. Easy to fix. Can't get greedy at this price.

I've been a huge fan of Cleveland putters since I went to golf galaxy in 1999 after spending 4 hours at Fat Tuesday Daquiri bar at the Mall of America. The Cleveland TA Milled 2 putter caught my eye and I immediately dropped down my corporate card (by accident) to buy it (they didn't take AMEX luckily, golf purchases are frowned upon with the corporate card). Then I fished my own credit card out (another AMEX - still didn't take it). Finally my daquiri filled wingman threw down his Visa and away we went. I putted with that thing for 7 years... then sold it on ebay - not smart - kicking myself to this day.
I picked up the new Cleveland Classic #1 and immediately fondly remembered my old TA Milled 2 (and the grape and pina colada daquiris). Great weighting, great look at address, nice sole grapics.
This putter feels terrific, great weighting and I love that CLeveland prints the putter specs on the sole - kind of feel like you're gaming something that is custom. The #3, similar to the Odyssey #9 style feels terrific. I need to pick that one up too.
Putters are extremely personal obviously, but if you like the classic styles and like to change often, don't hesitate gaming one from this line. I will not be selling this one on ebay.
Swap the grip out with an Iomic, maybe add a strip of lead tape if you like it a bit heavier and use the headcover until you lose it. Along the way enjoy the made putts and classic style of these putters. Also don't hesitate to order a half grape, half pina daquiri at Fat Tuesday - The Screaming Viking as they called it at the Mall of America before they shut it down!
I've had just about every putter including scotty cameron putters and i've not experienced a putter this solid since the day i picked up my tad moore putter for 30 bucks at liquidation sales. I'm still going to keep the TM putter but this may see some green time next year
Tried the Classic #1 side-by-side with Scotty's Newport and it is 90% of that putter at 25% of the cost. If you are on a budget, this is a better "anser" than Ping can offer and equal to Odyssey's black series. No looking back here.
Great Looking, Excellent Feel, Unbelievable Deal. It comes in Lefty!!!!
Cons:
Unlike most reviewers... I like the grip.

I have to hand to it Cleveland they made a true classic at an unbelievable price. The quality and feel of this putter are what you what would expect from Cameron or Bettinardi. I like the fact that it has an understated classic look without red dots or the makers name engraved in every possible space. The face is clean with no engravings! When was the last time you saw that on any putter? It's nice and clean with a beautiful, classic, satin finish and it performs. I'm a Lefty and they actually make 3 models for Southpaws... the Classic 1, Classic 2 and the Classic 4. Give one a try, you can't go wrong for $69!
I purchased a Cleveland Classic 1 for under $55 while looking for a reasonably priced anser style putter (I had been an insert mallet user for some time and wanted to switch to something without and insert and better distance control). I was surprised at how nice this putter was. It has a soft feel, rolls with little or no bounce/skid, and seems perfectly weighted for great feel and distance control. The only real con for me was the thin grip. I prefer a mid-size jumbo grip, and swapped the stock grip for a Tiger Shark with good results.
