Got fit for this putter with the new IPhone app and found the Anser 5 to be the perfect putter for my game. I was using an Odyssey White Ice Rossie for a couple seasons and wasn't looking for a new putter, but after feeling this thing in my hands at Golf Galaxy, and trying it out on their fake surface, I could not get it out of my mind. The feel was magnificent, but I could not tell exactly what it was that made it feel so good. I tried a non-milled Anser version for comparison and felt a huge difference from the milled version. It did not seem anywhere near as smooth for me. I had to have this Anser 5 Milled putter.  I hemmed and hawed thinking that once I paid 300 bucks and used it on real greens,  my excitement would wane and I would be disappointed. Even so, I bit the bullet and purchased it, and was happily surprised to see that the exact opposite occurred. I putted lights out with it with the smoothest stroke I have ever had (and I always had a really good putting tempo). My putting has been better, no question, with this new putter. I went an inch shorter than my previous and that may be helping, but it also feels so sweet when you strike it and is so much easier to keep the face square than any putter I have ever owned. I have over 20 rounds on it now and don't think I have hit a poor putt with this thing yet that wasn't simply a misread. My distances are much more consistent and usually much closer on long lags. It has to have something to do with the way this thing feels in my hands, and now, the confidence  I have when using  it  is greatly increased. It is also a really nice looking putter. It has beautiful lines. And the satin look is rich. When standing over it my confidence is high.  Aligning it to your projected line is effortless.  I have literally surprised myself dozen of times with it, by holing putts that I was just trying to get close. It just seems so much easier to hit it on line than ever before in my game. I have made more 1-putts from over 15 feet in my last 20 rounds with this, than I did all last season--over 75 rounds--with my old Odyssey.
