Vintage 54 and 60

by Guest on August 29, 2009

Pros:
C-Grind, Raw/Vintage finish, Heavy, MD grooves

Cons:
Price

Rating:
5 stars. C grind on the 60 allows for multiple shot options, yet sole is wide and has enough bounce for ease in bunkers. 54 has a bit too much bounce, but there is a C-Grind model to help with that. The MD grooves are fantastic. Even the non-MD grooves are excellent with any premium ball. Love the vintage finish.

Rating:

The 58-degree wedge is my favourite, becouse it has the C-Grind, definitely my go-to club inside 60meters. Very versatile around the green. Great wedges overall, allready ordered the 64 degree wedge. It's a shame they dont offer 64-degree with C-Grind.

Awesome Wedges

Pros:

Finish, Spin, Versatility (Grinds), Options

Cons:

Shred Balls

Rating:

These wedges are great.  I have 51, 55, and 60 degree wedges.  These wedges have great grinds that make them very playable in a variety of conditions.  My 51 has regular grooves and is very nice GW that matches my irons very well (I use it mostly on full shots).  The 55 is also very versatile.  My wedge has a little bit of heel relief and also has part of the bounce ground off (to compensate for the added bounce from bending).  My 55 and 60 have MD grooves and they really spin the ball (some times too much).  But I am not too concerned because I expect it to wear down over time.  Overall I love the vintage finish and the soft feel of the wedges.  I also like that they are less rounded than most wedges and are similar to 588s in shape.
