Bridgestone Tour B330-RX Golf Ball...Boom It!
Bridgestone Golf tested thousands of golfers and found that no ball on the market could deliver Tour-level spin and performance on the greens while also offering a softer compression that allowed moderate swing speed players the ability to compress the core in the same manner a high swing speed player does with other Tour-level balls. As a result, Bridgestone Golf has developed the new Tour B330-RX - a ball made specifically for low handicappers who do not have Tour-level swing speeds, but want Tour-level performance in their short game. With its new Very SOFT Gradational Compression Core, the B330-RX delivers Tour-level spin, control and feel, yet provides maximum distance to moderate swing speed players off the tee.

Iffy...

by BridgestoneRX on October 29, 2009
Pros:
Soft, Long!
Cons:
Low spin, no short game control.
Rating:
The B330-RX is great for a beginner in the Premium Ball Range, not a ProV1 lover. This ball has far superior feel over say a E series ball, but not the B330-S or B330. I have to warn you, this ball is not a spin ball! It has great feel and distance and feel from the putter to the driver, but no spin! With the new groove rule, whom are following it may want to change from this to a Pro V1. This ball also has no short game control. It hops, but no stop! Good for the mid handicap trying to shoot a lower score, but not for a 8 or less handicap!

B330-RX

Pros:
-Good distance
-Realtively soft feel
Cons:
-Lack of greenside spin
Rating:
Decent ball ball that is fairly long. "Heavy" feel off the driver if that makes sense. Read various reviews that this ball is good in comaparison to other premium balls. But for the price it just average, if not overpriced compared to the nxt tour, Z-Star etc.
Not much greenside spin, need to paln for some run out, feels good off the putter. Where the ball for me shines is with the irons, good distance that holds it's line.

Did the ball fitting and compared the numbers with the Tour Ix that I was playing. My ss is 104 mph or so. Gained 10 or so yards on the cally with a big increase in ball speed. I like the feel off the putter as well.

2nd best ball I've ever played

by Guest on February 02, 2010
Pros:
This ball does everything I need.
Cons:
A tad too hard
Rating:
This ball is perfect for me. Other than the old wound Maxfli Revolution, this ball does it all. I get very good distance off my clubs, controllable spin on my shorter clubs, and great feel off my putter and wedges.
Bridgestone has a winner here. Now, if they come out with a model exactly like this that's just a tad softer, I'll be totally in love!

Decent Ball but needs to be cheaper

by Guest on February 09, 2010
Pros:
Nice Distance and Feel
Cons:
Not enough spin for me and shorter than the Pro-V1 All around.
Rating:
This ball doesn`t spin enough around the green for me. I like the PRO-V1 better. The Pro-V1 is also longer with the driver and irons. This ball is priced too high for what it does in my opinion. I play better with the NXT Tour ball than this. Maybe my swingspeed being around 98 mph is the problem.
