Very forgiving hybrid.

Pros: VERY forgiving. Stock Proto-by-you shaft is incredible.
Cons: very high launching, not very good at working the ball.
Rating: If you want to blast the ball straight and high, this is the club for you. The stock proto by you shaft helps control the ball flight though. In my opinion, this is the easiest hybrid to hit on the market. The only hybrid I like more is the new V2. The 21* is the best 3 iron substitute I've ever owned. I highly recommend this club, especially if you can pick it up used. The only con I have is that it doesn't work the ball well at all, but if you don't need to work the ball, I think it's perfect!
I own the 18, 21, and 24deg in this club. For me the VS Proto worked much better. Great club, the 21deg is my go to club, I use it for lots of shots including some short shots around the green.
these clubs are very forgiving, the stock vs proto rocks
Cons:
none so far
Rating:
i had trouble hooking all hybrids until i learned how to swing one. if you put the right swing on these(hit down and take a divot) they flat out perform. far and straight. the stock vs proto gets the ball up quick and it just goes and goes. i have the 18, 21 and 24 and they will be in the bag for a long time (or at least the back up bag) i dont ever plan to get rid of them. i dont work the ball yet so these are the perfect point and shoot hybrids. they are great from the fairway, tee or the rough and are pleasing to look at. ping still had some left when i bought them back in august, i got them new for 100.00 each. they can be had far less than that on the used racks but most i seen were pretty beat up. i prefer new anyway.
Straight, not a hook machine. Looks terrific at setup
Cons:
Pricey, but, worth it.

The V2 Rapture hybrids are the best I've ever used. I've used Nickent, Cobra, Ping G series, Alpha (very good too) et al.
The Rapture V2 is absolutely the most dependable and reliable club in my bag. I have only one at this time, but, plan to add 2 more V2 hybrids in the near furture. I'll wait till prices come down at the end of playing season before adding more, but it's a definite.
The stock shaft is very acceptable. It feels great, bend profile is perfect for my game and maybe yours. Get one to demo if possible and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
